He heard about her name from someone, is it her friends or the teacher? Nevertheless her's was Gabriellina Marian Fernandez. Her friends called her Gab. "Oh i see, so that's what her name is," Carl talking to himself. "I wonder if she is interested in me, I wonder what's her first impression when she sees me?" Carl who is showing a little interest on her. "I wonder what school she was from before and where does she lives?" Showing more and more interests.
But somehow, to him, it was almost impossible for him to talk her. "I want to talk to her or at least say Ola but i'm to embarrassed to do so and she seems like someone from a rich background. I don't think she would ever be interested in a boring and a plain guy like me, maybe I should just forget about it. It feels like I would be ignored if I ever starts a conversation with her." Negativity was on his mind, "what are you thinking Carl?" said the writer in a frustrated tone and a little bit of angry too.
Days passes by, everyday is almost boring, nothing special happens. Gab seems to be able to get used to life here too and that's good. Carl seems to be relieved.
Today got a science class and like always everyone would have to go to the lab. Academic sessions starts like it normally does. Sometimes Carl seems to be able to grab what the teacher is teaching and most of the time he does not. Uwargghhh! I hate labs! Its not comfortable here! The chairs are totally not up to my style, you just can't lay back on this stool or chair. But thankfully, class is over. Which is good to him. One more hour he would surely faint.
So Carl took her text book and other stationaries and put it in his bag and prepared to leave the lab. Suddenly, Gab came to him and said that they had accidentally exchanged their textbooks with one another which surely surprises Carl because he had no idea how could that ever happens. Gab talked to him with a very slow voice to the point that Carl could almost not hear what she's saying. While she was saying that her eyes are not looking at his face, she looked down. Probably because of embarrassment to which the guy understands because he felt the same thing too.
Not being able to find any words to reply her because Carl is not used to talk to girls. That doesn't mean that he never do so, it's just its pretty rare. Because of his poor ability in conversing and also because of his nervousness to talk to girls, he only nods and say 'oh' or possibly ok and gave her the book.
After all that was done. Gab went to her friends and went back home. While she was walking away, he looks at her from the back and he talks to himself. On his mind he kept on thinking on how funny that scene and how could that ever happens? He laugh it off on his mind and start his journey back home.
